From strategy to the work of change.

Ed Engles is a consulting executive and business leader with more than two decades of experience translating strategy into growth, operating plans, and enterprise transformation. Previous leadership roles at global consulting and technology services firms spanned an Americas consulting business, a North American service practice, a regional market, and major client relationships.

That work carried accountability for revenue, margin, talent, and delivery. It included leading a consulting practice with more than 500 practitioners, building global customer operations employing thousands, and developing senior leaders responsible for growth and performance.

ArcPoint brings this experience to organizations navigating a leadership transition, a performance challenge, an ambitious transformation, or an important technology decision. The approach combines executive alignment with practical attention to how work gets done.

Representative experience.

The following examples describe Ed’s work in prior roles. Clients are anonymized; these are not presented as ArcPoint Advisory engagements.

  • Business leadership. Led a consulting business across industries and functional practices, with responsibility for commercial performance, operating plans, and senior talent.
  • Telecommunications. Led an enterprise conversational AI program that reduced contact center demand and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Financial services. Oversaw post-merger customer service integration and migration to cloud contact center technology.
  • Healthcare. Led service strategy and platform transformation planning across customer relationship management, cloud contact centers, and self-service.
  • Retail and distribution. Shaped commercial opportunities connecting customer care, fulfillment, supply chain, and technology modernization.

Leadership beyond the business.

Board and nonprofit service has included governance, financial stewardship, strategic planning, and community engagement. Ed has held board officer and treasurer responsibilities, chaired strategic planning, and served on nonprofit boards and an advisory council.

Areas of involvement include historic preservation, education, local community organizations, and cancer research fundraising. This experience reinforces the importance of mission, responsible stewardship, and working with people who contribute their time and talent.

Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and a nonprofit board certification.

A commitment to community.

ArcPoint’s values are Actions, Results, and Commitment. Commitment means following through for clients and contributing to the communities we serve. As the business grows, we will return a share of its success to local programs through philanthropic giving of time, talent, and treasure.
